Aluminium

Economical, light and simple.

Aluminium is particularly suitable for the production of deposit chips for all celebrations and events that should serve as cashless payment.
This is the cheapest metal of our product assortment.

Brass

The optical economical alternative to gold!

This material can be used for practically all fields of minting.
Whether a medallion, shopping trolley chip, slot machine chip or part of a bimetallic or tricolour variant. Brass is the most frequently sold metal of our product assortment; it is always in stock, very good to work with and low-cost!

Material description: CuZn37
Available material thicknesses:
1,2 mm / 1,5 mm / 2,0 mm / 2,5 mm / 3,0 mm

Brass plated iron

This material consists of sheet iron with a layer of brass rolled on to each side.

In this way it is particularly suitable for the production of slot machine coins, as the invisible steel core with its magnetic properties make it practically forgery-proof for your coin checking device. It is optically similar to brass and is likewise always in stock.

Available material thicknesses:
1,5 mm / 2,0 mm

Tombak (CuZn15)

Two further brass alloys, but with a higher copper proportion.

Whilst 63 % copper is used in conventional brass, the copper proportion here is 85% (Material description: CuZn15), for the higher the copper proportion, the redder the material. Two particularly unusual metals which are also excellent for medallion minting.

Available material thicknesses:
1,2 / 1,5 mm / 2,0 mm / 2,5 mm / 3,0 mm / 3,5 mm

Tombak (CuZn5)

Copper

Copper is an excellent material for the production of medallions!

Its soft property makes it very easy to work with and during the minting process it flows into all the engraved recesses of the minting die, thus producing a coin with a high quality appearance. The reddish colour of the alloy resembles that of 1 cent, 2 cent and 5 cent pieces.

The basic material used is primarily brass-plated iron or pure brass coated with a 5 µ thick layer of nickel.
A cheap alternative to Alpaka/Alpacca, and extremely resistant to corrosion.
